Air quality (PM2.5) snapshot, city by city (Asia–Pacific Top 20).
This module summarizes annual PM2.5 (fine particulate matter) for major Asia–Pacific cities and the traveler-facing implications. We prioritize government monitoring; where city-level annual means are not yet extracted, we show a clearly labeled proxy and penalize the score.
Core metric: annual mean PM2.5 (µg/m³) Score: 0–100 (lower PM2.5 + higher confidence = higher score) Traveler label: 1–4 (green→red)

Interpretation note: Even with a “good” annual average, travelers can face short high-exposure episodes (wildfires, inversions, burning season). Prefer official real-time advisories when present.
